Today I went to see the Colosseum and
the Roman Forum. The Colosseum was HUGE, and the engineering, genius.
My favorite part of the day was seeing the ancient Forum. The forum
was the center for political life in Rome. People from all walks of
life came to the forum to trade, work, and socialize. I was so
impressed. When I wasn't snapping pictures I couldn't get my head out
of the guide book. If you ever had to pick only one touristy/historic
thing to do in Rome I strongly recommend the Roman Forum.
The long way home through the shopping district :)
